Prayer Requests from Pastor Jane and Michael from Jerusalem, Israel
October 3, 2026
Please pray with us and stand in agreement concerning the following needs.
Remaining September Rent 2026
Please pray for the remaining finances needed to finish paying our September rent here in Israel.
Half of the rent has already been paid, but we still owe the remaining balance. Please also pray that we continue to have favor with our landlords, David and Leah. If anyone feels led to help financially, this is one of our immediate needs.
October 2026 - Rent and Monthly Expenses
Please pray for the finances needed to cover all of our October expenses.
Our next Israel rent payment is due October 18. We also have health insurance, car payments, food, transportation, gasoline, and other necessary monthly expenses. We are trusting the Lord for the finances needed to meet every obligation on time.
Increase in the Cost of Living in Israel
Please pray concerning the continued increase in the cost of living here in Israel. Because of the change in the value of the dollar against the shekel/NIS, our monthly out-of-pocket rent expense has increased by approximately $900 USD per month, which is about a 32.14% increase.
Rent is high throughout Israel, especially for those whose support comes in dollars and then has to be converted into shekels. Food is also very expensive. Even basic items such as a carton of tomatoes can cost approximately 12–15.
Gasoline is around double what we have been accustomed to paying, around $10.20, and we use our vehicle not only for ourselves but also to transport others when needed. Please pray for the Lord’s provision and wisdom in handling every expense.
FIBI Bank in Nahariya
Please pray for the FIBI Bank in Nahariya. This is one of the bank accounts we have used for ministry donations to be wired into Israel or for ATM deposits to be made. The bank has now blocked us from making deposits. The account was opened in Pastor Jane’s name around ten years ago while she was still in Israel as a tourist.
We now need to travel north to Nahariya, where the account was originally opened, and meet personally with the bank to find out how money can be deposited into the account so the remaining charges can be paid and the account can eventually be closed.
This account has been used for health insurance, medicine, groceries, and other monthly expenses, so there are charges that still need to be paid. Please pray for favor, wisdom, understanding, and the right people at the bank to help us resolve everything.
Travel to Nahariya
Please pray as Pastor Jane and Pastor Michael plan to travel to Nahariya, hopefully this week, to speak personally with the bank. Pray for favor, wisdom in every conversation, peace, clear understanding, and safety while traveling there and back.
Attorneys in the United States and Israel
Please pray that we find the right attorneys in the United States and/or Israel who can help us prepare a formal legal letter showing that Pastor Jane and Pastor Michael do not receive salaries from Unconditional Love Ministries. Israel has strict laws concerning money laundering, and there can also be misunderstandings concerning American nonprofit laws and terminology.
We need an official legal document that clearly explains the structure of ULM and confirms that we do not receive salaries from the ministry. We believe this has become another attack against the ministry finances that are used to cover the expenses of what we do here in Israel.
Please pray that the Lord leads us to the right attorneys in both the USA and Israel who understand the laws involved and can help us so ministry money can be wired to ULM without harassment or unnecessary problems.
Upcoming Ministry Meals and Thanksgiving
We are getting ready to host meals and a Thanksgiving meal in November. Please pray for the finances needed for food and supplies so we can continue serving and blessing others. With the cost of food being so high, these meals will require additional provision. Please pray that the Lord provides everything needed and leads the right people to help.
Overall Ministry Finances
Please pray for the rest of the finances needed for Unconditional Love Ministries to continue the work here in Israel. The immediate needs include the remaining September rent, October rent and expenses, health insurance, car payments, food, gasoline, transportation, banking expenses, legal help, and upcoming ministry meals.
As the Lord leads, we are asking those who believe in what ULM is doing to prayerfully consider giving toward these needs. Every gift, large or small, helps us continue serving people and carrying out the work the Lord has given us here in Israel.
Safety for Israel
Please pray for the safety of Israel and everyone within her borders, including us, especially with the heightened security following the Dubai flight terrorism situation. Pray for protection over the people, wisdom for those responsible for security, and peace throughout the land.
Pastor Michael
Please pray for Pastor Michael concerning his balance. He almost fell the other day. Pray for strength, stability, protection from falls, and safety as he walks and goes about his daily activities.
Pastor Jane — Jet Lag and Diabetes
Please pray for Pastor Jane as she continues dealing with lingering jet lag and high blood sugar.
Her blood sugar numbers have continued rising, sometimes over 300, even though she does not eat very much. She is taking insulin injections, but the blood sugar is still not controlled.
Please pray for her diabetes, for the blood sugar to come under control, for wisdom concerning what is causing the numbers to rise, and for strength and healing in her body.
Journey to Jerusalem
Please pray for Pastor Jane as she continues writing her book, Journey to Jerusalem, which will be the first in a series.
Pray that she will be able to continue writing consistently, finish the book within a reasonable amount of time, and have it ready to publish by the end of the year.
She is also taking an online writing course, so please pray that what she learns will strengthen her writing and help prepare the book for publication.
Encouragement Cards
Please pray for Pastor Jane as she continues creating encouraging cards.
Pray for creativity, wisdom, and the Lord’s direction concerning the messages on the cards. Also pray that people will purchase them and that they will become another way to help with the ministry finances.
ULM Online Training Center
Pastor Jane and Pastor Michael are working together to create videos and lessons for the ULM Online Training Center.
Please pray for the Lord’s direction as they prepare the teachings, for wisdom concerning what to teach and how to present it, and for the right timing to begin releasing the lessons.
Pray that the Training Center will reach people, help believers grow closer to the Lord, and strengthen the work of ULM.
Jerusalem Meetings
Pastor Jane and Pastor Michael are also seeking the Lord concerning when to begin meetings again here in Jerusalem.
Please pray that the Lord will make His timing clear, show them where and how the meetings should begin again, and prepare the people He wants to bring.
Thank you for praying, standing with us, and helping as the Lord leads.
