Praise Report and Continued Prayer for Phil Carty

Dear Prayer Team:

Please see the praise report and request for continual prayer from Phil Carty below.  God is answering prayer!

Hi Kirk

Thank you for all of your continued prayers, as you know the last operation scheduled for the 8th November 16 was cancelled at the last minute as my white blood cell count was outside of the required parameters. We had a meeting on the 18th with the consultant who made the decision to cancel the procedure on the data he had. At the meeting we produced 12 months' worth of blood tests all showing that my white cell count was always outside the recommended the recommended range and he had to admit he had made an error in judgement.

We had notification that they had rescheduled the operation for the 20th December 2016, this was a bit disappointing as it meant that Christmas was a bit of a right off as I would not come out until the 24th and even then the care might not have been as good as many of the key people were on vacation during this time and it was the last day of operations at the hospital. We were grateful for the date but it was still concerning. Additionally, I had to go through all the pre op tests on the 6th which again would mean there was a further risk of cancellation if the tests came up with some other issue.

Today is Alison's birthday so we had been out for lunch when we got back there was a call as we walked into the house and it was the hospital. We were informed that my operation had been pulled forwards to the 6th December, we were also informed that no further tests were required and that I have report for admission at 07.30 on the 6th.

So, we are now all set for the 6th and would ask for your continued prayers for the skills of the surgeon and his team for the care team who have to look after me during recovery for the physiotherapists who have to get me walking again and for rapid and complete healing after the operation. Especially for my wife and daughter as they are obviously concerned.

We will let you know how it goes and thank you for your continued love, friendship and prayers

Regards

Phil and Alison

Thank you for your prayers!

Fwd: Prayer Request

Dear Prayer Team:

Please join with Stanley and Cathy Morin in praying for Cathy's nephew Justin who is struggling with a meth addiction.

Lord, we ask that you deliver Justin from this addiction and stronghold of the enemy.  We ask that you turn his heart toward You so that he can be set free.  Place a hedge around him so that all the evil influences in his life are blocked out, and allow Your ministers of light to speak Your truth that sets captive free - into his life!

In Jesus Name!

Just wanted to thank everyone for praying for Dean. The Lord gave us the report thru doctors that they say he has ideopathic pulmonary fibrosis or IPF. It is a lung disease that solidifies the lungs so they do not work and don't know why it happens. NIH has a short article on the internet. This has been discovered very early and they plan to put him on an experimental drug next month called Esbriet.

We choose to believe the Lord is our healer, that he has Dean with his right hand as the bible says, and will walk thru this with him one day at a time. Please keep Dean in your prayers, we both have been completely at peace because of all those prayers.

Blessings,

Linda

Dear Fellowship

There aren't enough words to express my gratitude.
It was two weeks ago Friday since the pins were placed from c3 to t1.  Back at our place he is being a trooper as just yesterday the pain seemed to be diminished a bit.
Our incredible God has been giving me patience and more beyond anything I have within myself.
I was prepared to join you today Sunday but he is bit wobbly and i must watch him like a hawk.  :)

Thanks
Marcia

Continued Prayer for Phil Carty

Dear Prayer Team:

Please see the update from Phil Carty below.  He needs our continued prayer for God's open door and for his complete healing!

Well here we go again, we had a phone call just after noon on the 4th  to say that my knee replacement was being cancelled the reason now is that my white cell count is to high at 14 it should be between 4 and 11. The trouble is that looking back at previous tests this is about normal for me since the medical mishaps of 2 years ago. So now I have to have further tests and a new date released, its getting very painful to even sit now and as a family we had all got ourselves ready for the op on the 7th its very exasperating to have it cancelled at this late date particularly as the markers we had been watching ie the red cells are now fine. We now have to wait for a meeting with the consultant anaesthetist which is 2 weeks away before we can move forwards. We are looking for an earlier meeting and for a rapid rescheduling of the op so that we are not delayed to badly our best hope is for a cancellation in the scheduled operations for the consultant who is carrying out the operation.

Will let you know as soon as something firms up again, its very frustrating to keep being delayed this is now the 3rd time it needs doing quickly as the left hip is getting painful and I cannot have a 3rd replacement so the soone the better

We are praying for you with the choice you have been given for the 8th we pray whoever it is does the very best theyy can for the country

Regards

Phil

CONTINUED PRAYER FOR SANDY WILLOUR

Dear Prayer Team:

Please continue to pray for Sandy Willour in her recovery from surgery this week.  Mitch took her back to the hospital due to shortness of breath.  They are running tests for congestive heart failure.  She will have a cat scan to determine course of treatment.

Lord, we pray that this will turn around to be only a simple set back in Sandy's recovery.  Heal her from any signs of congestive heart failure, and guide the doctors as they conduct their tests.  We pray for a good report, Your healing touch, and Sandy's return to home.
