Prayer Update - Phil Carty

Dear Prayer Team:

Here is an update from Phil Carty and Family.  Please continue to uphold them in your prayers!

Hi Kirk

Just a note to thank the Church for their prayers yesterday, it was nice to into a procedure in peace. They did the scan and it was very quick but they left me with a huge bruise on the back of my hand where they put the needle in to inject the die, but it's not giving me any pain. We had some rain here last night and the skies this morning are a cloudless clear blue.

I took Bailey for a walk on the cliff tops this morning, well that is to say he runs around and I hobble on my crutches. I was amazed to see a full arched rainbow against the clear skies out ot sea, and it just reminded me of Gods covenant after the flood and Abrahams dream I am glad the weakest link in our contract is Jesus and not us as He will never fail,

The results from both the endoscopy and the CT will not come through for 2 weeks but we are believing for the results to come sooner.

It is a real blessing to see the fear gone from Alison and Becky as well, they are concerned but not fearful anymore as they know as I do that our Brothers and Sisters are holding us in their prayers.

I will let you know when have any news and thanks to everyone for their prayers

Phil

Prayer For Phil Carty (England)

Dear Prayer Team:

Our dear friend, Phil Carty from England, needs a miraculous breakthrough in prayer for his health.  I am adding his request below.  We will be taking time on Sunday to lift him us as a body for his breakthrough!

Thank you for standing with Phil, Alison, and Becky in believing prayer!

(From Phil Carty)

I have acurve ball at the moment that needs some prayer I cannot fight it alone and Alison and Becky are praying with me but its hard for them as they are so close. Omit I had aclose call 2 years ago that took some extensive surgery to save me ut let me with no bowel and some other bits missing. Its been haard but OK and we thought the corner was turned, then my right knee suddenly failed and it was found that the only way to fix it was to have the joint removed and replaced.
They were going to do this on 8/22 but they found about a month ago that my blood count was 48 when it should be 136, they were amazed I was up and about, they carried out a transfusion and that raised the count to 98. they called me on 8/11 telling me they were suspending the operation as the count needed to be 110 out of 136. The doctors had no idea how to get there anad they organised an endoscopy and a CT scan to see if they could find why my systems had suddenly failed to stop working as it was OK at the strt of the year.
I have had the endoscopy today and they have found n ulser in my tummy all I could hear when I was in the op was thet theyhad not seen one so bad, they took 8 biopcies of they had Alisoan and I in a room and told us it might be Stomach cancer but it looks heaked but they are still concerned, both of us are now completely battered and dont know what to do
I have the CT on Sunday at 11.45 your time 16.45 mine anad then we have up to 2 weeks of terror before we know.
As a family we would be greatful and honored to recevoe your prayers over us in this tumultuous time we know God is in charge but our faith is a little more that battered at this time
Thanks
Phil Alsion and Becky

Thanks for the prayers. Here is the message I got from my sisters.

"Procedure is done. Mild heart disease, nothing critical, but a little blockage in right leg. They want to check that out later. Dr. said she did good and she can go home today."

Praise God!

My mom, Viola Swank, had some trouble a few weeks ago, and the Dr. said it was A-fib. They wanted her to see a cardiologist, which she did, and due to the results, she will be going in tomorrow for a heart cath procedure at 1:30 in Wichita, Kansas. Because of her age, they will have a medical team standing by to put a stent in if the need arises, and that's what her doctor suspects. Please pray that the procedure goes well, and for her peace and safety. Thank you so much!
